Viscosity Technology, Inc. (“Viscosity,” “we,” “us,” or “our”)
1. Overview
Viscosity Technology, Inc. offers an optional SMS (text message) notification service as a convenience for internal employees who wish to receive activity reminders, performance updates, and account notifications via text message. This policy describes what messages you may receive, how you can opt in, how your information is used, and how you can opt out at any time.
Participation in this SMS notification service is entirely voluntary. You are not required to provide your mobile phone number or consent to SMS messages as a condition of employment. All information delivered via SMS is also available through email, phone calls, and other internal communication channels.
2. Who Can Opt In
This SMS notification service is available exclusively to Viscosity Technology employees. Only individuals who are currently employed by Viscosity Technology are eligible to enroll.
3. Types of Messages You May Receive
If you opt in to the SMS notification service, Viscosity Technology may send SMS messages for the following purposes:

Contract and Account Management
Sample Messages
“Reminder: You have 50 calls remaining to meet your daily quota of 100.”
“Your weekly pipeline summary: 12 new leads, 3 proposals sent, 1 closed deal.”
“Alert: Oracle Cloud contract expires in 30 days. Action required.”
“Follow-up reminder: Call scheduled with Acme Corp at 2:00 PM today.”
4. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your role and current activity level. During active sales periods, you may receive an average of 3 messages per business day. Contract and account reminders are sent as deadlines approach. Messages are sent only during business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Central Time).
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
5. How to Opt In
Enrollment is voluntary and optional. To opt in, you must take one of the following actions:
By opting in, you confirm that you are a current Viscosity Technology employee and that you consent to receive SMS notifications as described in this policy.
You will receive the following confirmation message after opting in:
“You’ve opted in to Viscosity Technology notifications. Msg frequency varies, averaging 3/day on business days. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for info. Msg&data rates may apply.”
6. How to Opt Out
You may opt out of SMS messages at any time with no consequences. Opting out will not affect your employment status, responsibilities, or access to any work-related information through other channels.

After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation: “You have been unsubscribed from Viscosity Technology notifications. No further messages will be sent. Reply HELP for assistance.”

We retain your mobile phone number and messaging preferences only for as long as you remain opted in. Upon opt-out or separation from Viscosity Technology, your number will be removed from our messaging system within 30 days unless retention is required for legal or compliance purposes.

We may update this policy from time to time. Enrolled employees will be notified of material changes via SMS or email. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
